While God-Des & She sport an eclectic sound they are, at heart, a hip-hop group. And nowhere on their excellent third album Three are their hip-hop chops on display more than “Radio Up.” It’s apparent that the duo was on top of their game when laying down “Radio”- it’s always easy to come out firing when the lyrics come from the heart. God-des’ sentiments are easy for most anyone tired of more-of-the-same radio to relate to. “We need to bring substance and edge back to mainstream music. What the industry needs to realize is that people don’t want 50 Cent’s twin, they want to hear something new and outside their little box.” These is so fresh and different give it a try Hip-Hop.
